International Service Technician (m/f/d)
Our client is an internationally active Swiss industrial company in mechanical engineering. The company develops and produces high-quality technical solutions and places great emphasis on quality, innovation, and reliable customer support.
Responsibilities:
Worldwide service assignments: You take on the repair and maintenance of highly precise grinding machines at our international customers, mainly in Europe.
Troubleshooting and repairs: You are responsible for the diagnosis and rectification of faults, carry out repairs, and handle overhauls and modifications to ensure the machines' performance.
Assembly and commissioning: You install new machines, perform the commissioning, and ensure smooth production operation at the customer's site.
Training and consulting: You train our customers in handling the machines and support them in technology application.
Sales and service: You are also responsible for the sales of our service offerings, handle enquiries, and sell solutions that optimise our customers' operations.
Customer support: You provide technical assistance with spare parts supply and help our customers with specific questions and concerns.
Qualifications:
Technical training: Completed electrical engineering training, e.g. as an automation technician, electronics technician, or mechatronics technician, ideally with further training as a technician or equivalent qualification.
Experience in control technology: Knowledge of PLC programming as well as drive and control technology is advantageous. Experience with Siemens SINUMERIK 840D is particularly desirable.
Mechanical interest: You have a passion for mechanical work and understand how to maintain and optimise complex machines.
Safety and quality awareness: You always adhere to the highest quality standards and work with safety awareness in every situation.
Language skills: Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form are required. Additional foreign language skills (e.g. French, Italian) are advantageous.
High willingness to travel: You enjoy being on the road worldwide, with a travel readiness of 80-90%.
