Construction Foreman Civil Engineering and Demolition (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Construction Foreman Civil Engineering / Demolition for an established Swiss construction company. You will independently lead demanding construction sites in the areas of civil engineering, demolition, earthworks and utility construction and be responsible for projects from work preparation to billing. The focus is on work preparation (AVOR), site organisation, cost and schedule control as well as occupational safety and quality assurance. At the same time, you will lead the site teams and coordinate clients, planners, authorities, suppliers and other project participants.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and execution of construction sites in the areas of civil engineering, demolition, earthworks and utility construction
Responsibility for work preparation (AVOR), site organisation, construction process and resource planning
Coordination and leadership of foremen, supervisors, machine operators and site personnel
Planning and control of the deployment of personnel, construction machinery, materials and subcontractors
Ongoing monitoring of deadlines, costs, quality and site results
Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, environmental and quality requirements on the construction sites
Preparation and control of measurements, time reports, claims and construction billing
Processing and calculation of offers and additional services as well as support in work costing
Coordination with clients, engineering offices, planners, authorities and internal specialist departments
Conducting and accompanying construction meetings, inspections and project handovers
Responsibility for professional execution of excavation, demolition, utility and civil engineering works
Use of SORBA and other digital construction administration systems for costing, project management and billing
Qualifications:
Training as a certified construction foreman HF, construction foreman with federal certificate of competence or comparable qualification in the main construction trade
Several years of professional experience in construction management, ideally in civil engineering, demolition, earthworks and/or utility construction
Sound knowledge in work preparation (AVOR), site organisation, measurement, costing and construction billing
Experience in leading site teams as well as in the economic management of construction projects
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards as well as occupational safety and environmental regulations in the Swiss main construction trade
Good user knowledge of SORBA and Microsoft 365
Driving licence category B as well as very good German language skills
