Construction Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the management of demanding new build and refurbishment projects with high architectural and technical quality standards. You will independently manage the construction execution and coordinate contractors, tradespeople and specialist planners directly on site. You will consistently keep an eye on costs, deadlines and execution quality and accompany the projects from tendering and awarding to acceptance and handover. In close collaboration with architecture and the client, you will ensure that design concepts and technical details are implemented precisely and economically.
Responsibilities:
Independent management of demanding new build and refurbishment projects during the realisation phase
Organisation, coordination and supervision of construction sites and construction processes
Leadership and coordination of contractors, tradespeople and specialist planners
Responsibility for ongoing schedule, cost and quality control
Preparation and processing of tenders, offer comparisons and awarding documents
Support of awards and contracts as well as monitoring of agreed contractor services
Review and coordination of execution plans, workshop drawings and technical detail solutions
Ensuring the professional implementation of architectural and constructive details
Leading construction and coordination meetings and following up on agreed measures
Coordination of interfaces between clients, authorities, architecture, specialist planning and execution
Conducting and supporting acceptances, defect management and project handovers
Management of relevant construction site and project documentation and participation in optimising construction processes
Qualifications:
Education or further training as certified construction manager, certified technician HF construction planning, architect FH/ETH or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in construction management of building projects in Switzerland
Sound knowledge of tendering, awarding, contract law as well as cost and schedule management
Confident understanding of execution planning, constructive details and demanding architectural projects
Good knowledge of Swiss construction practice and relevant SIA standards
Experience in coordinating contractors, specialist planners and other project participants
Very good German language skills spoken and written
