The City and Regional Library Thun offers a diverse range of media and services for all age groups: around 45,000 media items and a large digital library as well as various courses and events.
We are looking for a
Your tasks:
- Personnel, professional and organisational management of the City and Regional Library
- Responsible for the strategic development of the library
- Communication and public relations (homepage, appearances at events, etc.)
- Application and review of the currently applicable cataloguing regulations
- Responsible for the optimal use of the media budget and the selection of media
- Representation of the City and Regional Library in Thun's cultural life
You bring with you:
- University degree (FH/Uni) in library, information or information science
- Several years of experience in public libraries
- Experience in personnel management
- In-depth knowledge of the book market
- Strong affinity for digital media and current trends in library digitalisation
- Assertiveness, communicative leadership skills and ability to work in a team
- Initiative and decisiveness
