The SRG Operations division is responsible for the central strategic management of the technological direction and production of SRG. The Genre Manager F4 ensures the operational and qualitative implementation of the offerings of one or more genres, under the operational leadership of the Business Partner Operations.
As Genre Manager «Information National Offering», you are the central liaison between the Operations division and the regional Information Genre Managers in the regions: You plan the nationally oriented information offerings together with the regions and ensure their efficient production. You have an overview of the entire offering portfolio – including the sub-portfolio Studio Bundeshaus, whose operation is ensured by the operational production managers on site.

What are your tasks?
In the Business Partner Operations team, you are committed to the following topics:
- Joint planning of nationally oriented information offerings with the regional Information Genre Managers of the regions: You bring together needs, resources and production means across language regions (audio, video, digital)
- Building and maintaining the network with the Business Partners and Genre Managers in the regions, with regular presence on site and an induction period that includes multi-day to one-week stays in the regions
- Anticipation of production needs – from major events, elections and votes to extraordinary situations – and early recognition of necessary adjustments to the offering portfolio
- Cross-operational management of production services and coordinated production processes; daily operations are the responsibility of the operational production managers, whom you professionally empower to work independently
- Responsibility for the efficient use of resources within the defined budget framework as well as for achieving the defined efficiency targets, while adhering to performance, production, safety and quality standards – together with the People Pool, the PMM and Operations management
- Active feedback and exchange culture as well as management of the KPI dashboard as a common control basis with the regions
What do you bring?
- Team spirit and several years of practical experience in the production of audiovisual offerings
- German and French at a professional level, mandatory requirement: One of the two languages is your mother tongue, the other you master at least at level B2. Italian and/or Romansh are an important plus
- Solid networking and relationship skills across organisational and language boundaries, great willingness to travel and a leadership understanding that works remotely
- Entrepreneurial thinking, combined with the ability to see the big picture and to act creatively, persistently and pragmatically
- High stress resistance and willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends
- Excellent communication skills, strong affinity for media-related technologies, negotiation skills and great ability to prioritise
