Senior System Engineer / Cloud & Infrastructure (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is the leading energy service company in Switzerland for end consumers in the field of permanent energy management (energy procurement, energy data management and billing). It is independent of suppliers, producers and distribution network operators.
Role:
In this role, you will shape the future of a modern, secure and cloud-based IT landscape and contribute significantly as an IT System Engineer to the stability and future viability of a hybrid environment. You ensure that platform, network and security components function reliably and are continuously developed, while actively shaping an ongoing cloud journey. You bring your experience, ideas and passion for modern technologies and consistently focus your work on sustainable impact. In addition, you engage in an environment with short decision-making paths, honest communication and a lived informal culture. Responsibilities:
Designing a future-proof IT landscape and technical support of central infrastructure services across local systems and Microsoft Azure
Further development of the cyber security architecture and implementation of appropriate measures for secure and reliable IT operations
Solving complex technical problems at 2nd-/3rd-level and sustainably optimising the affected systems and services
Taking responsibility in infrastructure and transformation projects as well as close collaboration with internal departments and the IT team
Qualifications:
Solid IT education, ideally complemented by advanced training at FA, HF or FH level
Several years of experience in system engineering; technically skilled junior profiles with corresponding development potential are also welcome
Broad know-how in Microsoft Azure, M365, Windows Server as well as network, routing and security technologies
Analytical and proactive personality with strong system understanding, personal responsibility and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
