Production Manager Poultry

What you will achieve

• Ensure the achievement of the operational, financial, qualitative and personnel goals of the area, especially regarding costs, revenues and production losses
• Lead, support and promote managers, specialists and those responsible within your own area of responsibility
• Ensure optimal personnel planning as well as the availability of facilities, machines and the raw materials required for production
• Ensure compliance with regulations in the areas of occupational safety, hygiene, quality, compliance and animal welfare
• Analyse complaints and coordinate corrective measures and continuous improvements with those involved
• Lead cross-departmental projects, contribute to the further development of production capacities and ensure data quality in the various systems
• Coordinate external slaughters and ensure professional collaboration with internal and external partners

What you bring

• Education: Advanced technical college
• Field: Advanced education at the level of a higher technical college, a higher professional examination or a university of applied sciences, ideally complemented by management training
• Professional experience: Proven professional experience in a production environment as well as in leading teams and in the continuous improvement process (CIP)
• Strong leadership skills and experience in leading teams with different profiles
• Good knowledge of common IT tools, especially Microsoft Office and SAP
• High sense of responsibility, independence and initiative
• Analytical thinking, solution-oriented working style and confidence in dealing with complex situations
• Flexibility, openness to change and entrepreneurial thinking
• Strong communication and cooperation skills as well as conflict management competencies
• High awareness of quality, safety, performance and customer satisfaction
• German (A2)
• French (B1)
