We are currently looking for a motivated, curious Apprentice Logistician CFC eager to learn a varied profession in a dynamic environment.

Your mission

Accompanied and trained by our team, you will gradually discover the various logistics activities at Swissmassage: receipt of goods, storage, order preparation, shipping, deliveries and installations.

Your apprenticeship will also allow you to discover other aspects of SME life, including customer contact and, progressively, the sale of certain products and accessories.

The aim is to enable you to acquire the skills necessary for the logistician profession, while developing your autonomy, sense of responsibility and versatility throughout your training.

Your main activities

Receipt of goods

• Participate in unloading goods.
• Receive and check deliveries from our suppliers.
• Verify the quantity and condition of received goods.
• Identify and report any damage or delivery errors.
• Participate in recording and storing goods.
• Handle goods in compliance with safety rules.

Storage & warehouse management

• Store products in designated locations.
• Participate in organising and optimising stock.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and secure.
• Participate in inventories.
• Control stock levels.
• Gradually use various handling equipment in compliance with required training and authorisations.

Order preparation

• Prepare customer orders.
• Pick goods from stock.
• Check references and quantities.
• Pack and protect products properly.
• Prepare parcels and pallets for shipment.
• Label goods.
• Participate in preparing shipping documents.

Shipping

• Prepare goods for carriers.
• Load parcels and pallets.
• Participate in coordinating collections.
• Ensure proper packaging of equipment to avoid damage during transport.

Deliveries & installations

Depending on your training progress, you will be involved in delivering and installing our equipment at clients’ premises.

You will be able to:

• Participate in loading the vehicle.
• Secure equipment properly for transport.
• Participate in deliveries in various regions of Switzerland.
• Help unload and carry equipment.
• Assist in installing massage tables, chairs and other equipment at clients’ locations.
• Adopt a professional and respectful attitude during interventions at clients’ premises.

This part of the job will allow you to discover the entire logistics process, from the arrival of a product in our warehouse to its delivery and installation at the client.

Customer contact & sales

As your apprenticeship progresses and depending on your development, you will also be able to develop your skills in customer contact.

You will gradually be involved in:

• Welcoming customers when they visit our premises.
• Handing over orders to customers collecting them on site.
• Responding to simple enquiries about our products and accessories.
• Advising customers on certain small accessories and consumables.
• Participating in the sale of small products and accessories.
• Developing your ease in dealing with a professional clientele.
• Contributing to providing a pleasant and professional experience for our customers.

Maintenance & organisation

• Keep storage areas clean and tidy.
• Participate in maintaining logistics equipment.
• Ensure tools and equipment are stored properly.
• Respect safety rules and internal procedures.
• Participate in improving warehouse organisation.

• Good interpersonal skills and interest in customers.
• Previous experience or internship in logistics is an asset but not essential.
