You create, implement, and further develop complex use cases as well as analyse and handle cyber security incidents
In this role, you triage security alerts, identify false positives, assess incidents, and independently prioritise and document security events
You formulate customer reports clearly, precisely, and understandably and support customers in implementing agreed measures
You actively contribute to the further development and optimisation of the CSIC infrastructure, improve detection rules, identify detection gaps, and develop new monitoring approaches
In this role, you use your SIEM understanding, analyse logs, recognise technical correlations, and derive a comprehensible overall picture from individual events
You participate in exciting projects, occasional major incidents, and forensic assignments and support the purple team in interdisciplinary exchange
Qualifications:
You have a solid technical education (completed degree in computer science, CAS/MAS Information Security, Incident Handler / Security Analyst certifications or similar) and have 5 years of professional experience in a Security Operations Center SOC
You possess broad basic knowledge in various information technologies such as Windows, Linux, network, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft Security Stack
You are interested in hacking, enjoy analysing security vulnerabilities, and conduct or accompany vulnerability analyses and pentesting
You have an interest in attack techniques such as the TTPs of MITRE ATT&CK and use this knowledge to improve defence measures, use cases, and detection logic
You are characterised by teamwork, loyalty, independence, and an impeccable reputation
You are proficient in German and English, both spoken and written
