Responsibilities:
You design robust IP infrastructures for safety-critical areas of application and accompany their implementation.
You further develop network architectures and ensure reliable, secure, and long-term operable communication paths.
You implement network components, conduct functional tests, and support technical commissioning.
You investigate complex connection and security issues and find sustainable solutions in the 3rd-level environment.
You support project managers with technical clarifications, customer enquiries, and the development of new solution scenarios.
Qualifications:
You have a degree in network technology, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
You master the basics of modern IP communication and have experience with routing, switching, and secured network connections.
You are familiar with at least one enterprise network platform, for example Cisco, Juniper or Palo Alto Networks.
You are interested in radio and transmission technologies and want to expand your knowledge, for example in the area of microwave radio or SD-WAN.
You work independently, analytically, and reliably, communicate very well in German, and can confidently express yourself in English.
