ICT Support Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you ensure the smooth IT daily routine of users by competently supporting them with technical questions and issues. You analyse and process incoming support requests, find pragmatic solutions, and ensure that hardware and software function reliably. You are responsible for qualified advice regarding workplace systems, applications, and access rights, and carry out installations, configurations, and updates as needed. Additionally, you document your work carefully, identify recurring problems, and contribute optimisation suggestions to the continuous improvement of IT services. Through your service-oriented communication, you significantly contribute to high user satisfaction and professional IT support.
Responsibilities:
- You record, process, and resolve IT problems and triage complex faults.
- In this role, you take on change and lifecycle management of client devices.
- You procure, inventory, and charge client devices and support IT projects.
- As an IT user support specialist, you manage hardware and software for thin clients, laptops, and mobile devices.
- You manage user rights and support specialised professional applications.
- In this role, you participate in system engineering and implement projects including site support and video conferencing.
Qualifications:
- You have solid experience with Citrix, VMWare, Veeam, and Microsoft technologies.
- You are familiar with common IT hardware and use it confidently.
- You have already supported and maintained systems in a global environment.
- You bring practical experience in helpdesk and support work.
- You have experience handling multimedia solutions.
- You communicate confidently in German and English, both spoken and written.
