Basic Training as Information and Documentation Specialist EFZ
What are your tasks?
Starting your apprenticeship in August 2027, you will be involved in the following topics:
- You will learn how long-term preservation of information of all kinds is implemented in digital and analogue form
- You will tag photos and index TV and radio contributions for long-term archiving.
- You will learn to conduct complex searches for videos, photos and text information and verify information.
- You will organise career information events and tours as well as complete external internships in a library and an administrative archive.

What do you bring with you?
- Completed secondary school type A or in the structured upper school with extended requirements E or equivalent school education
- Interest in libraries, documentation and archives and the related questions and tasks
- Enjoyment of computer work, interest in electronic media, high language competence orally and in writing
- Organisational, team and communication skills, high motivation, perseverance, systematic and precise way of working, reliability
