The St.Gallen municipal utilities are the reliable partner for the population and economy of the city of St.Gallen as well as partly the region in the supply of energy, water and fibre optics. For our Network Electricity and Telecom department, public lighting division, we are looking for a

Network Electrician EFZ or Electrical Installer EFZ Public Lighting (m/f/d) 100%

This is what you will do:

• Creation, operation, maintenance and servicing of public lighting systems, bus shelters, arcades and sports grounds
• Carrying out work at height on street and sports ground lighting
• Independent execution of work on assigned construction sites (pipeline construction, cable pulling, cable joints, cable connections, installations, etc.)
• Responsible troubleshooting of public lighting systems
• Installation, maintenance, replacement and documentation of lighting controls
• Carrying out periodic condition checks and data collection on lighting systems

This is what you bring with you:

• Completed vocational training as a Network Electrician EFZ or Electrical Installer EFZ or an equivalent qualification
• You have practical professional experience in electrical distribution networks
• You are characterised by a robust constitution and enjoy working outdoors as well as at height
• An accurate, independent and responsible way of working is a matter of course for you
• Teamwork, flexibility and resilience
• Good German skills (spoken and written), driving licence category B required and category C advantageous
