Role:
In this role, you design digital business processes from analysing existing workflows through to conceptualisation and successful implementation of new solutions. You are responsible for the continuous optimisation of end-to-end processes and ensure that these are efficient, customer-oriented, and technologically up to date. You coordinate cross-departmental requirements, translate professional needs into clear specifications, and work closely with IT and business stakeholders. You define standards, guidelines, and best practices for digital processes and ensure their sustainable anchoring in the organisation. In addition, you take on the professional responsibility for selected digital platforms and applications, thereby making a significant contribution to the further development of the digital business landscape.
Responsibilities:
- You develop the digital roadmap for site processes together with the CEO and specialist departments.
- In this role, you prioritise, lead, and implement digitalisation, automation, and AI projects.
- As Specialist Digital Business Processes, you optimise ERP-related end-to-end processes from order-to-cash to planning.
- You build and further develop a meaningful KPI landscape for operational and strategic control.
- In this role, you translate business requirements into viable digital solutions and clear specifications.
- You drive paperless, efficient workflows and support departments in the introduction and use of digital tools.
Qualifications:
- You have a technical or commercial basic education with further training in digitalisation and/or process management (e.g. AI Business Specialist) or a degree in business informatics.
- You have several years of professional experience in digitalisation-related functions in a production environment as well as solid practical experience with ERP systems, business applications, and process optimisation.
- You are confident in data analysis, reporting, and data quality and have knowledge of at least one scripting or compiled language as well as ideally SQL and Power BI.
- You understand automation, interfaces, and AI use cases and have experience in project management as well as collaboration with production, business, and IT.
- You act as a strong translator between business, production, IT, and the data world, work analytically, structured, and solution-oriented, and communicate confidently with different stakeholders.
- You are characterised by high initiative, a hands-on mentality, and pragmatism, are open to change, resilient, and set priorities effectively to consistently drive improvements forward.
