Description
Depending on the organisation and role level, responsibilities may include:
- Ownership of month?end, quarter?end and year?end closing
- Preparation and review of statutory financial statements (Swiss GAAP OR and/or IFRS)
- Coordination with external auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders
- Oversight of general ledger, balance sheet and P&L
- Ensuring compliance with local accounting regulations and internal controls
- Participation in process optimisation, automation or ERP (SAP) initiatives
- Coaching and mentoring of junior accountants (for manager-level roles)
Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting, ideally in Switzerland
- Solid knowledge of Swiss GAAP OR and/or IFRS
- Hands?on experience with ERP systems (SAP FI / S/4HANA highly advantageous)
- Fluent German AND English preferred
- Structured, reliable and proactive working style
- Experience in audit, industry or shared service environments is welcome
