Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Powerful networks form the foundation of every modern IT system. We are looking for a person who plans, develops, and ensures maximum availability of complex enterprise networks with innovative technologies.
Responsibilities:
Planning, operation, and optimisation of complex network environments
Configuration and administration of Cisco, Fortinet, or comparable enterprise solutions
Implementation of modern routing, switching, and wireless technologies
Development of secure SD-WAN and network segmentation concepts
Introduction of network automation with Ansible or Python
Analysis and resolution of complex network faults
Participation in data centre, cloud, and infrastructure projects
Optimisation of performance, stability, and availability
Creation of technical concepts and network documentation
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in enterprise networking
Very good knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, or comparable manufacturers
Experience with routing, switching, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, and VPN
Knowledge of modern network architectures and SDN
Analytical and structured working style
Enthusiasm for modern network technologies and automation
