Doorman, Floor Attendant

Job definition and mission

As a Doorman / Floor Attendant, the employee ensures rigorous maintenance of corridors, offices and public areas under the supervision of the Housekeeping team. They act in direct support of the chambermaids and actively contribute to customer satisfaction through the quality of their service, responsiveness and attention to detail. Their role directly contributes to creating an impeccable customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main tasks

• Take charge of customers' vehicles and ensure their parking
• Escort customers to their rooms and manage luggage on arrival and departure
• Participate in cleaning rooms and provide support to chambermaids
• Manage customer laundry (collection of dirty laundry and distribution of clean laundry)
• Handle clearing and restocking of laundry as well as waste disposal
• Vacuum and use the floor scrubber in circulation areas
• Clean public areas and maintain outdoor spaces (pressure washer, blower)
• Distribute drink orders and check minibars
• Clean the complex's windows
• Respond to specific customer requests, including VIPs
• Collaborate with other departments to anticipate and meet customer needs

General responsibilities

• Ensure quality service in accordance with the Clinic's standards
• Actively contribute to customer satisfaction and well-being

EDUCATION

QUALIFICATIONS

• Significant experience in a similar position in 4* or 5* hospitality
• Proficiency in French and English
• Knowledge of using the floor polisher
• Valid driving licence in Switzerland and knowledge of traffic rules
• Good physical condition
• Excellent presentation
• Service-minded and customer-oriented
• Discretion and interpersonal skills
• Additional language skills (an asset)
