Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a technically skilled professional as System Technician: Electrical / Building Automation for service, maintenance and commissioning of electrotechnical systems. After a structured induction, you will independently take on service assignments, fault diagnoses and maintenance work and gradually develop towards commissioning and programming of more complex systems. The focus is on drive, control and ventilation components as well as their proper testing, parameterisation and troubleshooting. The role offers a high proportion of technically demanding system work, while classic electrical installation work is mostly carried out by external partners.
Responsibilities:
Independent execution of service, maintenance and repair work on electrotechnical and automated systems
Planning and organising your own service assignments including appointment scheduling and customer coordination
Systematic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic components
Assembly, replacement and testing of drives, push buttons, sensors, actuators and ventilation components
Carrying out functional checks, measurements and technical system inspections
Performing minor commissioning as well as parameterisation of control and system components
Gradually taking over independent commissioning and programming of more complex systems
Analysing control, communication and system errors and initiating appropriate remedial measures
Technical advice and support for customers in case of faults, maintenance and system optimisation
Coordinating technical interfaces with electrical installation partners and other specialist companies
Preparing service reports, maintenance protocols and commissioning documentation
Ensuring work complies with relevant NIV/NIN regulations and electrotechnical safety standards
Qualifications:
Completed training as electrical installer EFZ, electronics technician EFZ or comparable basic electrotechnical training
At least 3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, service, automation or a comparable technical environment
Knowledge in fault finding, control technology, drive technology and electrical measurement technology
Experience with service, maintenance and commissioning of electrotechnical systems is an advantage
Interest in further development in programming, parameterisation and building automation
Good German language skills for customer contact and technical documentation
Driving licence category B
