Civil Engineering Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a qualified specialist as a Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Project Manager for the independent handling of diverse infrastructure projects. You will take on projects in planning and/or execution with a focus on transport facilities, water supply, urban drainage and district heating. You will coordinate clients, authorities, specialist planners and contractors and accompany the projects through several planning and implementation phases. The position offers a varied range of tasks in municipal civil and infrastructure engineering with a high degree of professional responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of civil and infrastructure projects in the planning and/or execution phase
Planning and processing of projects in the areas of road and transport facilities, water supply, urban drainage and district heating
Development of preliminary projects, construction projects, execution planning and technical project bases
Coordination of clients, municipalities, authorities, specialist planners, utility companies and contractors
Preparation and processing of tenders, specifications and award documents
Monitoring and control of project costs, deadlines, quality and project progress
Technical processing and coordination of utility and development projects in the municipal environment
Support of tendering, awarding and implementation as well as assistance with the technical evaluation of contractor offers
Depending on the project, taking over the local site management, conducting site meetings and checking the executed work
Preparation of measurements, invoices, project documentation and cost forecasts
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, technical guidelines and legal requirements
Qualifications:
Degree as civil engineer FH/ETH, technician HF or civil engineering site manager HF or equivalent qualification
Professional experience in project management, planning or site management in civil and infrastructure engineering
Expertise in at least one of the areas transport facilities, water supply, urban drainage or district heating
Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, tendering and submission procedures as well as usual planning processes
Experience in cost planning, schedule management, tendering and construction accounting
Good knowledge of common CAD, construction administration and MS Office applications
Very good German language skills for technical documentation and collaboration with authorities and project participants
