Transports Publics du Chablais (TPC) in Aigle employs more than 400 staff and manages four regional railway lines, as well as a bus network serving numerous municipalities in the Vaud and Valais Chablais regions. To support the strong growth of our company, we are looking for a:
PURCHASER (80-100%)
YOUR MISSION
Responsible for purchasing across all departments, you act as a key partner for internal services. You actively contribute to the development of the purchasing function within the company. Reporting to the purchasing and logistics manager, you apply your expertise to purchasing strategy, continuous improvement of practices, optimisation, standardisation, and securing supplies. In this role, you independently manage all public procurement procedures, in compliance with the applicable legal framework. You conduct thorough economic analyses, compare offers, and provide well-argued award recommendations to management. You negotiate contracts with suppliers. You handle non-conformities, claims, and disputes while ensuring quality and consistency of contractual data. Additionally, you manage a diverse purchasing portfolio which you optimise in terms of cost, quality, deadlines, and risks. You monitor supplies and orders in our ERP system, ensuring data reliability. In close collaboration with suppliers and the logistics team, you guarantee the availability of goods and services necessary for the company’s activities. Finally, you develop indicators and dashboards to manage purchasing performance.
YOUR PROFILE
Holding a federal diploma as a purchasing and supply specialist (or an equivalent qualification), you have solid experience in a similar role, preferably gained in an industrial, technical, or parapublic environment. You are proficient in public procurement procedures as well as economic and contractual analysis. You are comfortable with common IT tools, notably the Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems; knowledge of ProConcept is an asset. You have good knowledge of German and/or English. Recognised for your autonomy, rigour, and organisational skills, you demonstrate excellent analytical and negotiation abilities. With good interpersonal skills, you collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
