IT specialists focusing on application development are experts in software development. Your tasks include planning, programming, testing, documenting, and presenting applications. You will learn to independently implement IT projects – from the idea to deployment. You will accompany projects and develop solutions for individual applications. This could involve automating business processes, creating websites, or programming a mobile application.

Your Tasks
Your training consists of a theoretical and a practical part and lasts four years. With us, you can take on responsibility from day one:- The practical training takes place at our Lucerne location in the areas of application development focusing on .NET technologies as well as software quality assurance (software testing)
- As part of the ICT basic IT apprenticeship year, you will spend the first and fourth semesters at the ICT Vocational Training Central Switzerland in Kriens
- The theoretical training includes attending vocational school (two days per week) and inter-company courses
Your Profile
- You have good school performance at secondary level A or very good performance at secondary level B
- You have very good grades in mathematics, German, and English
- You are enthusiastic about technology and IT
- You have a precise way of thinking and working as well as a quick grasp
- You enjoy complex tasks and are an alert and motivated personality
- Additionally, you are interested in an apprenticeship qualification with a vocational baccalaureate
