At Micarna in Bazenheid, a responsible position in meat processing awaits you: You operate machines and plants, ensure quality, hygiene and safety standards, and support a smooth production process.

What you achieve

• You operate various packaging machines in production and packaging or manufacture charcuterie products in a more comprehensive manual production process.
• You handle tasks on the line in the DPS 2 system, also make more demanding changes to existing programmes, and perform standard management tasks in the EVD system.
• You carry out random checks during label control according to the four-eyes principle and ensure careful documentation in the production log.
• You independently perform prescribed cleaning tasks on production and packaging machines and take responsibility for them.
• You know the products and their quality characteristics and consistently apply the applicable hygiene, safety and operational guidelines.
• You reliably carry out the tasks agreed with supervisors and ensure occupational safety according to the safety concept.
• You live the values of the Migros Group in everyday life and comply with legal and specific guidelines.
• You work efficiently both independently and in a team, support and take on tasks as line leader when needed.
• You are also able to convert the assigned plants and carry out simple mechanical service work.

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Field: You have completed vocational training EFZ (as a meat specialist, food technologist or machine and plant operator), or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience: You bring initial professional experience in the food industry or a comparable sector. Ideally, you have leadership experience as a line leader and take responsibility in the professional support of the team.
• You have knowledge of processes and procedures.
• You have good physical condition and are willing to work in an environment with cold and noise.
• You are open to change, work well with others and contribute to reliable teamwork.
• You are flexible and willing to work in a two-shift system.
• You have good oral and written German skills at level B2-C1.
• German (B1)
