Role:
As an Automation Engineer / PLC Programmer, you develop and optimise control solutions for modern machines and systems. You accompany projects from technical specification through programming to worldwide commissioning and support customers with demanding automation tasks.
Responsibilities:
Adaptation, programming, and commissioning of controls for new systems as well as major updates of existing customer machines worldwide
Preparation of technical specifications for electrical components and systems as well as support during supplier acceptance
Definition of technical requirements for conversions and modifications in presales as well as implementation and commissioning at the customer
Handling service requests for electrical faults via telephone support, remote access, or on-site at the customer
Development and adaptation of software for PLC, visualisation systems, and drive technology
Qualifications:
Degree as a Technician TS/HF or Engineer FH in electrical engineering, automation, system technology, or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in automation is an advantage
Solid knowledge in PLC programming with Siemens SIMATIC S7
Experience in drive technology
Independent, solution-oriented, and customer-focused working style
Flexibility for international short-term stays with customers (several days at a time)
Good German and English skills, spoken and written
Driving licence category B
