What is my role?

• Development and implementation of future-oriented procurement strategies for electronic components considering costs, quality, supply security and risks

• Independent management and implementation of local as well as global purchasing and optimisation projects

• Evaluation, introduction and procurement of new, changed or alternative components in close cooperation with internal stakeholders

• Ensuring the long-term availability of strategic purchasing items under competitive conditions

• Conducting contract and price negotiations as well as building sustainable supplier partnerships

• Active involvement in complaint, change and product management processes

• Proactive collaboration with R&D, production, quality and supply chain in an international matrix organisation

What do I need to be successful?

• Commercial or technical basic training, ideally supplemented by further training in purchasing

• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing as well as proven success in developing and implementing procurement strategies in the field of electronic components/production materials

• You move confidently in an international matrix organisation and understand how to coordinate collaboration between departments, locations and different stakeholders in a targeted manner

• Strong negotiation skills, confident appearance and excellent communication skills

• Experience in conducting and evaluating make-or-buy decisions

• High quality awareness, technical understanding as well as an entrepreneurial mindset and approach

• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written

• Confident handling of common MS Office applications

• Proactive, independent and solution-oriented working style with high initiative

• Willingness to travel for work
