You are attending commercial school and would like to complete a one-year internship at the Schaffhausen Hospitals? Then feel free to contact us.

Every year, we offer one commercial school student an internship position in the accounting department. The internship starts on 12 July 2027 and lasts until 31 July 2028. You can find here which tasks you will learn during this internship and which application documents we require from you:

• Managing the cash register at the Psychiatric Centre
• Handling clarifications and correspondence in the accounts receivable and accounts payable areas
• Creating patient instalment agreements
• Ensuring invoice receipt in the accounts payable workflow
• Assisting with accounts payable bookkeeping
• General administrative tasks

The Schaffhausen Hospitals as an employer

The Schaffhausen Hospitals include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for about 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients.
