To strengthen our medical team, we are looking for a Senior Physician in Endocrinology & Diabetology with a possible prospect of taking on leadership roles within the Thyroid Centre.
The Winterthur Cantonal Hospital is centrally located, only 30 minutes from Zurich and the German border. With a catchment area of over 200,000 inhabitants, it offers all important specialist disciplines and is responsible for primary care as well as highly specialised medicine in the greater Winterthur region.
The Department of Endocrinology/Diabetology at Winterthur Cantonal Hospital includes an outpatient clinic with modern infrastructure and a consultation service covering the entire spectrum of hormonal diseases including diabetes mellitus and obesity.
This is who we are
Your tasks
- You care for patients with the full spectrum of endocrinological and diabetological diseases, both in outpatient clinics and in interdisciplinary consultation activities
- You participate in interdisciplinary and interprofessional meetings and training sessions and share responsibility for supervising junior doctors as well as nutrition and diabetes advisors
- You take on leadership tasks, such as tutoring junior doctors and organisational duties

- You are a specialist physician in Endocrinology/Diabetology
- You value interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration as enriching. You have team spirit, are respectful and loyal in your dealings, and possess high social competence
- You have organisational skills, are well structured, and enjoy the training and further education of young colleagues
