Over 5,000 patients with tumour diseases are cared for annually in the oncology outpatient clinic.
The outpatient clinic is part of the tumour centre Thurgau, certified by the German Cancer Society (DKG). To complement the team in the oncology outpatient clinic, we are looking for an

Dipl. Nurse HF/FH Oncology Outpatient Clinic

You will take on

• Care and support of ambulatory oncology patients undergoing medicinal tumour therapy
• Administration of antitumour therapies according to applicable quality standards and guidelines
• Monitoring the course of therapy and early recognition as well as initiation of measures in case of side effects or complications
• Support and assistance for patients and relatives in coping with the diverse symptoms and effects of their illness
• Conducting nursing assessments for symptom control
• Patient education and counselling on therapy and side effect management
• Independent planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing within the nursing process

You bring with you

• Diploma as a qualified nurse HF/FH with several years of professional experience in oncology
• Ideally, advanced training in oncology nursing (NDS Oncology, CAS in Oncology Nursing or equivalent)
• Sound knowledge in the administration and monitoring of antitumour therapies as well as supportive treatments
• High professional and social competence in dealing with oncology patients and their relatives
• Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, flexibility and independence to adapt to rapidly changing situations
• Process- and solution-oriented thinking and responsible action for a committed, well-coordinated treatment team
