Role:
As a System Engineer Modern Workplace, you design modern workplace environments and implement innovative cloud solutions technically precisely and reliably. In this role, you take on the conception, implementation and further development of secure, high-performance and scalable modern workplace infrastructures. You are responsible for integrating new technologies, optimising existing services and ensuring stable, professionally managed operations. You analyse requirements, identify improvement potentials and implement these into sustainable technical solutions. In addition, you work closely with relevant departments to ensure a user-oriented, future-proof cloud workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
- You build, maintain and further develop our modern workplace solutions (private cloud VDI and multicloud modern workplace)
- In this role, you develop new product standards based on specific customer requirements
- You actively support our technical project managers in diverse IT projects
- As a Cloud Engineer Modern Workplace, you technically implement private and multicloud customer projects
- You take over 3rd-level support for our system architectures and analyse complex faults and problems
Qualifications:
- You have training or further education in computer science or equivalent several years of professional experience.
- You have practical experience with cloud desktop technologies such as Citrix and VMware Horizon.
- You are very familiar with Windows servers, Windows client operating systems as well as Microsoft Active Directory and group policies.
- You bring experience with virtualisation technologies and Veeam Backup.
- You possess solid know-how in Microsoft M365 (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, Entra, Defender) as well as in the multicloud environment.
- You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills and work independently, structured and team-oriented.
