Strategic Buyer Technical Equipment 100% (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
You analyse procurement needs of the departments and define suitable purchasing strategies.
Coordination of tenders includes technical specifications, offer comparisons, and contract negotiations.
Through market analyses, you identify new suppliers, technologies, and potential savings.
You monitor orders, delivery deadlines, budgets, and open commitments in the ERP system.
When drafting contracts, you consider commercial conditions as well as technical and financial requirements.
You conduct supplier evaluations and handle quality deviations and complaints.
You evaluate purchasing key figures and derive measures for cost control and process improvement.
You ensure compliance with internal purchasing guidelines and Swiss environmental regulations in the procurement process.
Qualifications:
Technical or commercial basic training with further education in purchasing or a completed degree in business administration, supply chain management, or engineering.
At least five years of professional experience in operational or strategic purchasing, preferably in a technical industrial environment.
Experience in the procurement of equipment and operating resources.
Good knowledge of tendering procedures, contract management, and commercial negotiations.
Confident handling of ERP systems, ideally SAP.
Knowledge in environmental technology, recycling, or waste treatment as well as Swiss environmental law is an advantage.
Structured and cost-conscious working style, negotiation skills, and willingness to travel within Switzerland and Europe.
Fluent German and good English skills; French skills are desirable.
