Your Tasks
Lead department: You lead a department with 5 - 10 project managers both professionally and personally, represent all projects assigned to your department and the area of responsibility internally and externally in the relevant organisational and coordination committees.
Work cross-departmentally: You are part of the management circle of the Building Construction department and are also committed to overarching topics there.
Promote building culture: Through your actions, you contribute to a constructive and positive working atmosphere within the Building Construction department and aim to promote exemplary and sustainable building culture.
Lead employees: In doing so, you lead and support the responsible project managers in all professional and organisational matters.
Develop strategies: Within the respective project organisations, you take a seat in strategic committees and represent the Building Construction department and the interests of the Urban Planning & Architecture office there.
Your Profile
Experience: You have broad and several years of experience in planning and realising large and complex construction projects. In addition, you demonstrate a pronounced ability to lead teams.
Personality: You possess high social competence, a natural assertiveness, and a fluent manner of expression. You work in a structured way, keep an overview, are able to prioritise, and are open to new ideas.
Education: You hold a university degree (ETH/Uni/FH) in architecture or engineering.

Urban Planning & Architecture (U&A) of the Department of Construction and Transport steers spatial and architectural developments of cantonal buildings, public spaces, and districts up to the trinational agglomeration.
