What you will do
- Together with the kitchen crew and your coach, you will rock our restaurant and inspire our guests
- You prepare tasty menus from fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and spices
- You ensure the physical well-being of your guests
- Together we create the cuisine of today and tomorrow and develop new food trends
- You take responsibility and creatively present your dishes on the plate
- You check the goods delivery, control the quality of the food and store it properly

Your place of work
In our experience realm 70 metres above the Rhine Falls, our guests enjoy the relaxing hospitality at Schloss Laufen. The visitor centre of Schloss Laufen is the central contact point for your discovery of one of Switzerland's largest attractions. This special location is an attraction for a wide variety of events. A rich selection of culinary delights is just one highlight among many.
What we offer you - among other things
Events: Introduction week, Chiefs for a Week, special SV specialist courses, apprenticeship graduation ceremony
Financial: 1st year CHF 1,020, 2nd year: CHF 1,300, 3rd year: CHF 1,550, 13th monthly salary, financial contribution to school material costs
Working days: 42-hour week (mostly Mon - Fri in an SV staff restaurant)
Holidays: 6 weeks
Meals: free, fresh and healthy staff meals

Schloss Laufen
Schloss Laufen
Well-maintained history for over 1100 years. Since the gentle renovation in 2009/10, Schloss Laufen has been a tourist highlight directly at the Rhine Falls. The SV operates the entire facility above the largest waterfall in Europe on behalf of the Canton of Zurich.
