You will take on

• Professional care and support of our patients
• As a key person, planning and implementing all steps of the nursing process
• Participation in measure-relevant decisions such as relaxations and leave regulations
• Planning and conducting milieu-therapeutic activities
• Coordinating processes and tasks with preceding and subsequent care institutions and persons

You bring with you

• Completed training as a nurse HF/FH with a focus on psychiatry, professional experience is an advantage
• Commitment to personal further training or continuing education to maintain up-to-date knowledge
• Flexibility, independence, resilience and ability to work in a team
• Contributing to a positive working atmosphere
• An open, person-centred, participative communication competence

Introducing the Psychiatric Services Thurgau

The Psychiatric Services Thurgau (PDT) consist of the Psychiatric Clinic Münsterlingen, the Outpatient Adult Psychiatry and the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service. The PDT belong to the successful Spital Thurgau AG with over 4,100 employees. Company locations are in Münsterlingen, Weinfelden, Kreuzlingen, Frauenfeld and Romanshorn. The Psychiatric Services Thurgau PDT provide integrated psychiatric care for all age groups and all disorders in the canton. You will work on one of the three forensic wards, where mainly patients under Article 59 of the Swiss Criminal Code (StGB), and where indicated also under Article 60 StGB, are accommodated. The ward offers a supportive and activating daily structure and aims for a constructive, non-violent and appreciative interaction.
