Responsibilities:
- Development of new products in the field of semi-finished products for target industries such as medical technology, mechanical engineering
- Initiator and companion for the development of new extrusion and process technologies
- Modification and optimisation of products and processes
- Independent planning as well as execution and documentation of tests and test series
- Collaboration or leadership of cross-departmental project teams
- Further development of quality-relevant production processes such as material pre- and post-treatment
- Cooperation and consultation with external partners at national and international levels
- Transfer of development results into series-ready processes
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of plastics engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering or a comparable course of study or completed vocational training as a process mechanic / mechatronics technician / plastics technologist
- Ideally, initial professional experience in the relevant field
- Strong communication skills and understanding of cross-departmental work with interface functions
- Very good knowledge of MS Office programmes as well as confident English skills in spoken and written form
- Interest in working in an internationally active company with willingness to travel occasionally to national and international locations
