In this role, you ensure the smooth operation of the entire IT landscape and act as the central contact person for all IT infrastructure matters. You take care of the operation, maintenance, and IT security of the system and application landscape daily and ensure their reliable availability. You also provide support for existing IT systems and applications, directly contributing to the stability of the environment. A key focus of your task is the planning, implementation, and operation of cloud migrations. The start of this responsible role is possible immediately or by arrangement.
Responsibilities:
Design and modernisation of a business-critical IT platform with several hundred endpoints and an extensive server landscape
Technical responsibility for central Microsoft cloud services and active transformation of existing systems towards modern cloud architectures
Ensuring a high level of protection by further developing security, backup, and monitoring concepts as well as analysing complex faults
Networking and automation of various infrastructure and application components as well as leading technical projects and participating in on-call duty
Qualifications:
Solid IT background with several years of experience in demanding system engineering environments and Microsoft-based platforms
Broad technical understanding of cloud, network, server, and virtualisation technologies as well as Windows, Linux, and identity environments
Strong security understanding and practical experience with endpoint, access, or vulnerability security solutions
Analytical and proactive personality who independently drives complex technical topics forward and communicates confidently with different stakeholders
