In this versatile role, you share responsibility for the operation of the ICT systems of the Schaffhausen Police and thus make an important contribution to the core police task. To strengthen our ICT team in the Department of Technology and Logistics, we are looking for a fixed-term position for four years, starting immediately or by arrangement

What to expect- Ensuring the operation and maintenance of communication and IT equipment as well as the building services systems of the Schaffhausen Police, including the operations centre
- Ensuring the operation of the cantonal security radio network (POLYCOM)
- Guaranteeing 7x24h operation of ICT systems and applications (including ICT on-call service)
- Installation, migration, updates and maintenance of hardware and software
- Support of the ICT helpdesk (clients and network, first and second level support)
- Participation and management of projects in the field of technology and IT, including in connection with the new Police and Security Centre Schaffhausen
What you bring
- Completed training as an Electronics Technician EFZ or Electrical Installer EFZ with further education in IT
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in the client/server environment and network area advantageous
- Experience in project management (technical projects/IT projects), HERMES knowledge advantageous
- Personally, you convince through high reliability, independence, teamwork, flexibility and resilience
- Driving licence category B
