Supply Chain Manager

Job Description
- Management of the purchasing team of the concerned group.
- Management of assigned categories/services, defining strategies.
- Selection of suppliers able to meet our needs, evaluating assigned suppliers and prospecting potential suppliers.
- Achieving objectives set by Management (cost reduction, stock control, reduction in the number of suppliers, etc.)
- Participating in BT Projects during their development phase.
- Technological watch and management of components in obsolescence phase.
- Responding to the needs of Sales and PDR for the preparation of quotes.
- Any other task included in the job description of another buyer, for replacements.
Profile Sought
- BASIC TRAINING: CFC or equivalent training in a mechanical trade
- SPECIAL TRAINING: Training as a confirmed buyer or equivalent
- LANGUAGES: Fluent French, English, German
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Confirmed Buyer experience in the mechanical field related to the machine/railway industry
- REQUIREMENTS DUE TO WORKING CONDITIONS
Excellent priority management, organised and methodical
Good stress resistance
- REQUIREMENTS IN TERMS OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
Leadership
Ability to work in a team

Ability to read mechanical plans and understand various manufacturing processes
