Your Tasks and Perspectives
- Management and further development of cooperation with the external security service: process responsibility, deployment and disposition guidelines, training and exercises, quality controls as well as performance and invoice control
- Planning, management and responsibility for extraordinary operations and event security at all locations - from situation assessment through deployment disposition to follow-up
- Collaboration in emergency and crisis management
- Professional responsibility for occupational safety and health protection (ASGS) throughout the entire Department Real Estate & Operations as well as chairing the ASGS experience exchange across all departments of the department
- Responsible for secure cash management (cash handling) - from safe and transport solutions through correct accounting to cooperation with the cash-in-transit company
What You Bring to This Position
- Completed basic training and further education in the security sector (e.g. federal specialist certificate) as well as training as a security officer or KOPAS/ASGS specialist or willingness to complete this alongside your job
- Strong ability for lateral leadership: you manage external service providers and partners without direct supervisory function, reliably and on an equal footing
- Calm, de-escalating manner, resilience in incident situations and confident handling of patients and relatives in tense situations
- Willingness to be on call and to work outside usual hours; residence within a reasonable intervention distance to the St. Gallen location
- Structured, independent working style, confident German in spoken and written form, good IT user skills, driving licence category B and impeccable reputation
