Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the construction management of demanding building construction and overall planning projects. You will take operational responsibility during the realisation of residential, commercial, public and technically demanding buildings as well as conversions and renovations. The focus is on cost, schedule and quality management, tendering and pricing according to NPK/CRB, and coordination of all project participants. As the interface between overall planning, structural engineering and execution, you ensure professional realisation according to SIA standards and contribute to the application of digital methods such as BIM and BIM2Field.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management of demanding building construction, conversion and renovation projects from execution preparation to handover
Responsibility for controlling and monitoring quality, costs, schedules and construction progress
Coordination of contractors, specialist planners, authorities, overall planning and structural engineering during realisation
Preparation and processing of tenders and pricing according to NPK/CRB as well as participation in awarding
Creation and management of contracts, schedules and construction programmes
Organisation and leadership of construction meetings including minute-taking, action item management and site reporting
Supervision of construction execution on site and control of compliance with planning documents and technical specifications
Review and approval of quantities, contractor invoices, change orders and time-charge work
Support of project and overall management in technical and organisational matters during all execution phases
Conducting quality controls, acceptance and defect management until successful project handover
Ensuring execution according to SIA standards, Swiss building regulations and contract bases
Participation in the further development and application of BIM, BIM2Field and digital construction administration processes
Qualifications:
Technical construction education as construction manager HFP/HF, certified technician HF, architect FH/ETH or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in construction management of building projects in Switzerland
Sound knowledge of SIA standards as well as Swiss building and contract law and experience with NPK/CRB tenders
Confident use of MS Office and digital construction administration tools; knowledge of BIM/BIM2Field is an advantage
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
