Mission
In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming and impeccably assisting our clients in order to identify their expectations. To offer them the most appropriate timepieces and jewellery items. You will be the guardian of the philosophy, culture and values that Patek Philippe wishes to convey.
Responsibilities
- Welcome, inform and advise clients to best meet their requests and ensure customer loyalty.
- Identify the client’s expectations and endeavour to tactfully and diplomatically redirect the client towards other available references.
- Accompany the client from the beginning to the end of their visit in our Salons.
- Ensure the client’s well-being, make sure they feel welcome throughout their visit and that they benefit from a customer experience that meets their expectations.
- Provide precise technical and/or historical explanations to clients about major complications.
- Propose the most appropriate timepieces or jewellery items.
- Maintain a privileged relationship with certain clients, provide high-level technical explanations and share the historical knowledge of our products.
- Meet the company’s expectations, provide excellent customer service and demonstrate the importance Patek Philippe places on its products and clientele.
- Keep up to date with the evolution of competitors’ products and stay informed about the watchmaking industry in general through the magazines provided.
- Guarantee a professional image of oneself and the Salons.
- Show the client that Patek Philippe salespeople keep their promises and that the brand’s interest is not limited to the immediate sale of the product but aims for the perfect match between the client’s full satisfaction and having served them perfectly.
- Ensure the organisation, preparation and execution of all tasks related to the sale of watches and jewellery.
- Promote the sharing of information and ideas on marketing and products with management and colleagues in order to continuously improve the skills of the entire team.
- Ensure sales follow-up, the preparation of all documents (invoices, certificates of origin, etc.) including cash handling and actions in case of theft with perfect information sharing.
Profile sought
- Commercial employee federal certificate of competence (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in advising and selling prestigious watch products.
- Excellent watchmaking culture.
- Sense of welcome and service.
- Mastery of sales techniques.
- Very good general knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge of PPSA history and products.
- Fluency in French and commercial and technical English (spoken and written), any additional languages an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent presentation and social skills.
- Team spirit, dynamic, discretion and stress resistance.
