About the job
The Yverdon Foundation for Childcare is a private foundation of public interest that manages 4 day care institutions, under the mandate of the Yverdon-les-Bains and surrounding areas Children's Day Care Network (REAJY). The FYAE has a central kitchen, a housekeeping and technical service, and a centralised general administration that supports more than 150 employees who work daily and together to ensure quality care for the approximately 420 registered children.
To steer its HR strategy and support its development, our committed and people-oriented foundation is looking for a Human Resources Director at 100%.
Main missions
Reporting to the General Management and a member of the management committee, you are responsible for defining, implementing and managing the human resources policy, in line with the strategic orientations of the institution.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and implement the foundation's HR strategy
- Assist and advise management and supervisors in managing their employees
- Advise the General Management, managers and service directors on HR matters
- Supervise all HR processes: recruitment, integration, training, skills development and internal mobility
- Ensure rigorous and compliant management of the HR administrative cycle (contracts, salaries, social insurances, legal obligations)
- Ensure compliance with labour law and applicable collective agreements
- Contribute to the development of a healthy, fair and respectful working environment
- Lead organisational transformation projects in line with institutional needs
- Manage and coordinate the human resources team
Profile sought
- Higher education in human resources, management or equivalent field
- Proven experience in an HR management role, ideally in an institutional, associative or semi-public environment
- Excellent knowledge of the Swiss legal framework regarding labour law and social insurances
- Proven ability in strategic and operational human resources management
- Recognised leadership, sense of diplomacy and confidentiality
- Excellent analytical, synthesis and communication skills
- Rigor, autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility
