Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d)
Tax administrations need clever software – and behind that are clever minds. Our Rocken partner develops the leading business solution for cantonal and municipal tax administrations. The application covers the entire administrative process: from the tax register through assessments and invoicing to debt collection and loss certificate management. A new generation of software is currently being developed – an exciting project that combines technical know-how and innovative power. The working style is characterised by deliberate focus, lively exchange between teams, and intellectual courage. Elegant solutions arise through knowledge, spirit, and team energy. Ready to work on a product that has real impact? Our Rocken partner is looking for people who are enthusiastic about a shared idea and want to help shape the digital future of tax administration.Responsibilities:
You design and implement modern cloud-native customer environments based on Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux and accompany the technical onboarding of new customers.
You ensure stable, secure, and high-performance operation of our SaaS platforms and continuously optimise this through toil reduction, monitoring, observability, logging, and infrastructure as code.
In this role, you actively contribute to DevSecOps topics, support identity and access management solutions as well as web application firewalls, and participate in automated security checks and penetration tests.
You establish and operate incident management processes together with your team as well as backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure reliability and business continuity.
You work closely with interdisciplinary teams, document your solutions comprehensibly, and actively share your knowledge within the team.
In this role, you use modern AI-assisted methods as a fixed part of your daily work to continuously increase efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- You have a higher degree in computer science or a comparable qualification at FH/HF/university level; further training or certifications in cloud-native, Kubernetes, or Linux environments are a plus.
- You have already worked as a site reliability engineer, DevOps engineer, system engineer, or in a similar engineering role and are familiar with operating modern cloud environments.
- You have practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, as well as CI/CD tools like GitLab and Argo CD; ideally, you are also familiar with databases, monitoring and logging solutions, and infrastructure as code.
- Technical enthusiasm, teamwork, clear communication, and the willingness to take responsibility and continuously drive improvements characterise you.
- You are familiar with ITIL standards and confidently apply best practices such as SLI/SLO in the operation of IT services.
Benefits:
- Home office
- Attractive training and development opportunities
- Attractive benefits in case of illness or accident
- Participation in business success and bonuses
- Contribution to or takeover of public transport subscriptions
