IT Security Specialist - Operations & Compliance (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will dive deep into operational IT security operations and actively contribute to reliably protecting systems and applications. You will independently monitor security-relevant events, analyse anomalies and initiate appropriate measures. In addition, you will assess security risks, support the continuous optimisation of monitoring processes and apply your expertise specifically to the further development of protection mechanisms. Through your structured and precise working method, you ensure that security incidents are detected early and handled efficiently. You always keep an overview of current threat situations and thus make a significant contribution to a stable and secure IT environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate global IT security measures and work closely with international IT teams
Manage the ISMS, optimise security controls and support risk analyses and audits
Analyse security incidents and further develop endpoint security, identity security, MFA, patch management and monitoring
Plan security awareness campaigns, conduct training and raise employee awareness for IT security
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to implement security requirements
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science as well as experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations or IT security
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, IAM, endpoint security, network security or vulnerability management
Experience with ISMS, ISO 27001, NIST or CIS Controls is an advantage
Fluent written and spoken German
