Business Unit Controller (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 125,000High-voltage cables connect continents – but who connects engineering expertise with global project implementation? Our Rocken partner develops and delivers complete high-voltage cable systems for critical infrastructure projects worldwide. From planning through installation to long-term service, the company takes full responsibility for engineering, coordination, and performance. The scope of work includes high-voltage cables up to 550 kV, customised components, as well as comprehensive project management – from system design to commissioning. With technical depth and application know-how, demanding infrastructure projects worldwide are supported. The teams work closely with customers, with clear responsibility and implementation strength. Responsibilities:
Operational controlling with a focus on OpEx, personnel costs, and cost driver analyses
Production controlling including analysis of machine hourly rates, production performance, and efficiency indicators
Responsibility for cost accounting, investment controlling, and inventory valuation
Creation and further development of reports and dashboards with Power BI
Support with budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term planning
Close collaboration with production, purchasing, HR, and management
Preparation of decision-making bases and recommendations for action for management
Qualifications:
Completed studies in finance, controlling, business or comparable
At least 2 years of professional experience in operational controlling, ideally in an industrial environment
Solid knowledge in cost accounting, production controlling, inventory & investment controlling
Very good knowledge of Power BI, ERP systems (e.g. MS Dynamics 365) and Excel
German at least C1, English C1
Analytical thinking, personal responsibility, and strong communication skills
