Senior Electrical Project Manager - Lausanne

On behalf of an engineering firm active in the fields of energy, building, and technical installations, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager to strengthen the team based in the Lausanne region.

We are primarily seeking an experienced, autonomous individual capable of managing projects from A to Z, with a genuine mastery of electrical installations and project management.

The company works on a variety of construction, renovation, and energy optimisation projects, in a multidisciplinary environment bringing together various building and energy specialists.


Your mission

As a Senior Electrical Project Manager, you are responsible for your projects and work independently from design through to completion:

Design and plan high and low voltage electrical installations.
Define concepts and technical solutions tailored to the needs of each project.
Carry out studies, sizing, cost estimates, and scheduling.
Prepare tender documents and specifications.
Lead and coordinate the various stakeholders on projects.
Ensure monitoring and management of works until the installations are handed over.
Support clients in their construction, renovation, and transformation projects.
Collaborate with various technical specialists to ensure optimal project coordination.
Propose solutions to improve the energy and environmental performance of buildings.


The profile sought

We are looking for a senior profile with proven experience in managing electrical projects and capable of working with a high level of autonomy.

You ideally have:

An engineering degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
Or a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an electrician installer/planner, with significant experience in a design office or a similar role.
At least 5 years of experience, ideally more, in planning and managing electrical projects.
Familiarity with Swiss standards and regulations, notably NIBT, OIBT, SIA, and AEAI.
Experience using tools such as AutoCAD, WinPro, Relux/DIALux, and MS Office.

Your personality

You are a seasoned professional, autonomous and pragmatic, capable of taking charge of a project without daily supervision.

You know how to analyse issues, make technical decisions, and follow up on your files until completion.

Your rigour, sense of responsibility, and ability to communicate with clients, suppliers, and partners enable you to work effectively on complex projects.

You also appreciate teamwork and multidisciplinary environments, while being able to operate independently.

A sensitivity to issues related to the energy transition, building efficiency, and sustainable construction is a real asset.
