About the job
What is my role?
Our client is looking for a committed individual to take on the following tasks:
Independent management and control of the saw lines during ongoing operations
Leading a team of 3 to 5 employees
Analysis and resolution of technical faults to ensure smooth production processes
Processing and handling incoming production orders
Carrying out maintenance and servicing work on production equipment
Representing the saw mill shift supervisor in their absence, taking on planning, organisational, and coordination tasks
What do I need to be successful?
Completed basic technical training in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
Professional experience in automation and electrical engineering, ideally in an industrial environment
Practical knowledge of working with PLC controls, IP addresses, and light barriers
Leadership experience
Technical understanding of machines and production equipment
High sense of responsibility and reliable working style
Independent and structured way of working
Good German language skills, both spoken and written; English skills are an advantage
Confident use of common IT applications
