Technical Project Leader R&D
Actively shape the next generation of our weighing and dosing systems. As Technical Project Leader R&D, you take overall technical responsibility for demanding development projects and accompany the entire product creation process – from defining requirements through conception, testing and validation to detailed implementation and successful market launch. In doing so, you bring interdisciplinary teams together and develop innovative solutions for the needs of our customers and markets.
This is where you will excel
- You take overall technical responsibility for development projects in the field of weighing and dosing systems
- You lead and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams in a site- and function-spanning matrix organisation
- You develop technical concepts and translate market, customer and product requirements into innovative and feasible solutions
- You work closely with relevant interfaces, including Product Management, internal customers, Supply Chain Management as well as Manufacturing & Logistics
- You plan, coordinate and evaluate tests, prototypes and validation trials, report the results to management and relevant stakeholders, and lead steering committees
These are the required skills
- Completed studies at a university of applied sciences or university in systems engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in product development as well as in the technical leadership or coordination of development projects in interdisciplinary project teams and matrix organisations
- Very good technical understanding in mechanics, mechatronics and machine development as well as ideally knowledge in sensor technology, control and drive technology
- Good 3D CAD skills, preferably in Autodesk Inventor, good German and English skills in spoken and written form as well as a willingness to travel of 10–15%
- Proactive, responsible and implementation-strong personality with high initiative, hands-on mentality, team spirit, organisational talent, resilience and decisiveness – even under time pressure
