Sterilisation Agent M/F
To thrive and succeed in this essential role, you:
- Have a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as an Operating Room Technician (TSO/TDM) or STE level 1 training
- Have prior experience in sterilisation or medical device reprocessing is required
- Are rigorous in following technical reprocessing procedures
- Have a sense of organisation, autonomy and reliability
- Are Swiss nationality or hold a valid Swiss residence/work permit
- Are proficient in French to communicate easily with teams and understand procedures.
- Have good physical condition, allowing you to stand and be active all day while performing your duties efficiently.
- Are available from 7 a.m. and some evenings for occasional needs.
- Accept working according to the provided day schedule, flexible and organised to meet service needs.
- Can provide a clean criminal record less than 3 months old and an up-to-date immunisation certificate.
- Are a Swiss citizen or resident in Switzerland, holding a valid B or C permit (mandatory).

Your tasks are varied and indispensable: from preparation to distribution of medical devices, you directly contribute to the quality of care.
Before sterilisation:
- Welcome and sort medical devices from different departments, ensuring their quality and safety.
- Clean and disinfect instruments carefully, applying protocols to protect patients and teams.
- Check cleanliness and prepare material for sterilisation, packaging and labelling each batch precisely.
During sterilisation:
- Load and unload autoclaves, ensuring cycle compliance and quality of each operation.
- Monitor machine parameters and check material sterility, guaranteeing a safe environment for care.
After sterilisation:
- Organise and store sterile devices so they are easily accessible to care teams.
- Ensure complete traceability of all operations for maximum safety and impeccable follow-up.
- Distribute material to departments according to their needs, directly contributing to quality of care and patient well-being.
