For our client, a successful Swiss industrial company with a modern production environment, we are looking for a Maintenance Automation Technician. In this versatile position, you will ensure high system availability, optimise existing automation solutions, and actively contribute to the further development of production facilities. You can expect a varied range of tasks between troubleshooting, PLC programming, and exciting investment projects.
- Analysing and sustainably resolving faults in electrical, automated, and control technology systems
- Programming, adapting, and optimising PLC controls as well as supporting automation projects
- Performing maintenance, servicing, and installation work on production systems and process control systems
- Assisting with conversions, expansions, and commissioning of new machines and systems
- Implementing technical improvements in control, regulation, and drive technology
- Supporting the continuous optimisation of production processes and system performance
- Participating in on-call duty to ensure uninterrupted production operations
- Professional experience in machine, operational, or production maintenance
- Good knowledge of PLC controls as well as control, regulation, and drive technology
- Experience in process control systems or industrial automation is an advantage
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style

Responsibilities

Profile
- Completed training as an Automation Technician with a Federal VET Diploma or comparable technical basic training- Professional experience in machine, operational, or production maintenance
- Good knowledge of PLC controls as well as control, regulation, and drive technology
- Experience in process control systems or industrial automation is an advantage
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- High quality, safety, and responsibility awareness
- Team-oriented personality with enthusiasm for technical challenges
- Fluent German language skills
