Senior Consultant Paediatric Oncology and Haematology Children's Hospital 80-100%

We are looking to strengthen our team from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement.

Your area of responsibility

• In consultation with the Chief Physician and together with two equivalent senior consultants, you have professional responsibility for our oncological-haematological paediatric ward as well as outpatient care of oncological/haematological/haemostaseological patients
• All treatments are carried out interdisciplinarily within the framework of SPOG, GPOH, SIOP therapy optimisation studies (where available) with a specialised nursing team and psycho-oncological and psychosocial support (excluding bone marrow transplantation)
• You undertake consultative duties for the Lucerne Children’s Hospital and other clinics of LUKS
• You participate in the 24/7 on-call service of paediatric oncology and competently support the Chief Physician in your specialist area

Your experience

• You hold a specialist medical title in paediatrics and adolescent medicine with a focus on paediatric oncology-haematology or are close to completing your subspecialisation
• You are characterised by high social competence, teamwork skills as well as appreciative and audience-appropriate communication in dealing with patients, relatives and staff
• You work independently, in a structured and responsible manner and maintain an overview even in demanding situations
• You value interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration and actively contribute to the further development of the clinic and its processes
