Team Leader Operational and Tactical Purchasing (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Overall responsibility for operational and tactical procurement in coordination with the specialist departments

• Leadership, motivation and further development of the operational and tactical purchasing team (including training and assessment)

• Responsibility for tactical purchasing of the assigned areas

• Management of commercial and organisational matters, supplier management as well as participation in supplier audits

• Further development, standardisation and automation of procurement processes in close cooperation with the Head of Materials Management

• Pipeline management (planning of future awards, evaluation of offers, coordination with demand carriers)

• Stakeholder management to optimise interfaces with internal and external partners

• Support of the team in the preparation and conduct of negotiations

• Regular exchange with key and preferred suppliers
  

Your profile:

• Technical basic training (approx. 4 years), technician HF or engineer FH

• Commercial/business management training or federally certified purchaser

• More than 8 years of professional experience in purchasing

• At least 3 years of leadership experience in operational and tactical purchasing functions

• Understanding of standards and requirements in the power plant environment

• Detailed knowledge of P2P processing in SAP S4/HANA including process automations

• Very good MS Office skills

• Strong social competence, assertiveness and conflict management skills

• High service orientation, cooperation and team skills

• Analytical and strategic thinking

• Above-average negotiation skills and communication ability

• German and English: business fluent in spoken and written
